PROFILE

  • One of my earliest memories unfolds within the colourful children’s fields of Glastonbury Festival, surrounded by crowds of smiling faces, artistry, and activism—I had found my happy place.

Year after year, I counted the days until our return pilgrimage, further exploring the otherworldy playgrounds of possibility. I witnessed once-in-a-lifetime iconic performances, immersed myself in the magic of ancient crafts and healing practices, and uncovered hidden portals into hedonistic ‘temporary alternative realities’.

Back home, the world made less sense to me as a neurodivergent kid navigating an inhibitive and one-dimensional education system. Observing a wider society on the brink of economic collapse, international humanitarian crisis, and escalating conflict, my mind would often wander back to the rolling fields where things were different.

I found a sense of belonging within the prevailing counterculture, captivated by the immense power of shared human experience as a mechanism to cultivate collective consciousness. I began exploring art, poetry, music, design technology, photography, film, and theatre production as methods of escape and storytelling.

These formative experiences uncovered a passion for uniting disenfranchised communities, illuminating imaginations, and inspiring social change with messages of radical reform and hope. I began organising exhibitions, cultural events, charity fundraisers, and club nights.

Motivated by these early successes, I formalised my career path with a four-year degree in Events Management, combining the theoretical knowledge of a well-rounded curriculum with hands-on industry experience, which prepared me for a career in the field.

  • After graduating, I worked within the mass participation sports sector, initially establishing a wealth of knowledge with the intricacies of technical production and gaining competence in system design and build methodologies. I advanced to managing more complex projects with phased operational and logistical planning, overseeing the design and delivery of course infrastructure, stages and integrated audiovisual technologies.

These foundations paved the way to more senior roles and enabled me to establish a proven track record of success in the arts and cultural sectors. I furthered my technical qualifications in Senior Project Leadership, Construction Design Management, and Industrial Rigging to meet evolving industry standards and broaden my expertise within the creative disciplines.

During my three-year tenure at the Greenwich Docklands International Festival, I established myself as the Senior Production Manager, leading the comprehensive planning, design, and technical delivery of a groundbreaking portfolio of greenfield theatre and cultural events.

Collaborating with internationally renowned production companies enhanced my ability to manage multidisciplinary project teams, seamlessly combining technical proficiency with creative ambition and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Amid the operational and logistical challenges of designing shows with flying aerial acrobats suspended fifty meters off the ground by hundred-tonne cranes or installing train carriages on military parade squares, I remained committed to producing fully inclusive events at our prestigious world heritage greenfield sites.

We implemented a wide range of tactile adjustments, such as bespoke bass-heavy sound systems enabling individuals with hearing loss to feel the music and custom-engineered walkways and viewing platforms ensuring access to all areas. Our progressive approach to experience design earned us the highest possible accreditation standard for accessibility from an independent audit.

Diversifying my portfolio, I produced original shows and innovative brand activations for prestigious blue-chip brands and global organisations. Notable projects include immersive theatre with Secret Cinema, Kristopher Kane’s iconic runway show at London Fashion Week, and the Battersea Power Station Opening Ceremonies. A career highlight was producing the Microsoft Big Wrap-Up Show, featuring live performances from Rag'n'Bone Man.

I have led the strategic campaign management of brand activations for leading multinational companies, including an innovative art installation for Bacardi that sensorially transports audiences on a flavour exploration, augmenting taste perception through the synthesis of scent, sound, and colour. In exploring the interplay between reality and fantasy, I custom-designed an electronic energy reading orb for Lego, assigning and dispensing Ninjago characters to astonished children.

A significant project with the National Projects Office in Dubai allowed me to fulfil a lifelong career ambition as an Associate Creative Producer, collaborating with Es Devlin Studios. I contributed to evolving conceptual designs with technical production requirements while championing sustainability practices, culminating in achieving ISO 20121 accreditation.

I deeply appreciate how my career has provided infinite learning opportunities for personal and professional development, enabling me to explore the ever-evolving humanities and their convergence with creative disciplines. I remain motivated by the values that brought me here: a passion for pioneering uncharted technologies, inspiring and uniting audiences with prosocial initiatives, and a commitment to advancing ethical and sustainable industry practices.

  • Promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within our project teams through progressive recruitment and reimagined organisational practices. Our approach fosters a supportive and inclusive environment that focuses on empowering marginalised and underrepresented candidates within the industry, providing a competitive advantage, enhancing innovation and bolstering creativity.

  • Minimising environmental impact is not just a goal but a priority in every campaign. We do this to preserve our planet for future generations. Each individual component is designed responsibly, carefully considering materiality, resource efficiency, and onward life. We work with pioneering contractors to integrate green technologies and are committed to a zero-landfill policy for all major productions.

  • Steadfast in our values, and resolved to only work with clients and stakeholders who fulfil their moral obligations to corporate social responsibility. This means a focus on implementing best practices in the principles, policies, and values that govern us. We prioritise respectful behaviour and communication, aiming to foster working cultures that promote dignity, privacy, equality, opportunity, compassion, and empathy.

  • Unwavering in our approach to developing safe and secure working environments by ensuring that all legal and legislative practices are rigorously followed, with project teams sufficiently trained and equipped to operate competently within their roles. Moreover, we design and implement GDPR-compliant systems, prioritising cyber security to ensure appropriate data processing, privacy, and protection.

  • Dedicated to enhancing social mobility, we are wholeheartedly committed to each campaign’s legacy, exploring ways to boost economic growth and benefit the local community. Prioritising charity partnerships and social enterprises as preferred suppliers, I also mentor youth groups, inspiring individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to build confidence and develop skills to pursue opportunities within the creative disciplines.
